Sancho, Mbappe, Greenwood and Rashford are amongst plenty of quality, younger players who have risen over 25% in price in the last 24 hours.
As expected, money has flowed to the top of the market at first and rightly so. Some of the above players were criminally underpriced and in my opinion, still are.
What I have noticed, is that there are some players under £2.50 who are yet to have such substantial rises, but are certainly worthy of a rise given their quality and low price.
As long as the young players at the top end of the market continue to rise, it is likely we will see a knock-on effect in quality young players further down the market too.
FIC Top 8 Value Youngsters
The players below have been picked because they have dropped considerably in recent months.
All 8 have been receiving a fair amount of game time in a PB league and 5 of these players are also likely to be getting involved in Champions/Europa League matches over the upcoming weeks. The prices below next to the player's name are the prices you can currently buy these players for.
Let's start off with the previously £6+ man - Rayan Cherki
Rayan Cherki Under £2.50
Cherki is one of the most exciting players on Football Index. One of the very best under 18's in the world - Cherki emerged on the scene for Lyon last season and has already played 7 games for Lyon in Ligue 1 so far this season.
With no goal contributions, Cherki has not lit up the world as expected by many. But, let's not forget he only turned 17 in August. Just the fact he is starting for a strong PB league side at his age is an incredible feat on its own.
With dazzling footwork, a low center of gravity, exceptional agility and creative vision - there is no ceiling as to how good Cherki could become.
Although he was recently being purchased at below £1.80, he still has not increased anywhere near as much as many other quality players. This may have something to do with his recent poor performance against Angers. But you have a lot to look forward to as a Cherki holder over the upcoming years and at under £2.50 - Cherki does appear excellent value.
Ferran Torres Under £1.80
It will not be a surprise to many FIC members to see Torres on this list. Only the other week, I had highlighted Torres in the FIC Discord chat at just £1.18. His instant sell price is now up to £1.68. However, the distance between Torres' price and plenty of other quality, young players has increased considerably.
Torres' price has been rising quickly over the last few days and he is still nowhere near his previous peak price. Since then, he has settled in at Manchester City, has developed well under Pep Guardiola and has scored a hat-trick against Germany.
Torres is a player who just keeps on improving and that is why he has been highlighted on FIC so many times. Fortunately, his price does not currently reflect his development as a player and this makes him stand out as excellent value for potential buyers.
Martin Odegaard Under £1.50
Odegaard hasn't had a particularly great start at Real Madrid this season. But his talent and potential are unquestionable. Once he finds his feet at Madrid, Odegaard could become a PB beast and it was this speculation that previously led to him hitting well over £4.
Odegaard could be bought at under £1.20 just the other day, but as a longer-term hold, he is certainly still excellent value below £1.50. In fact, he appears a great hold at his market price too as do the rest of the players in this blog, but of course, it would be much better to buy at close to their instant sell price.
Overall, with sublime vision, creativity in attack and potential to improve within a world-class team - Odegaard has the ability to grow into one of the world's best midfielders.
Takefusa Kubo Under £1.40
Villareal has 3 Europa League fixtures coming up in the next 3 weeks and Kubo could be the man to help Villareal ease through their group.
The 19-year-old Japanese playmaker already has 1 goal and 3 assists in 3 Europa League games and against weaker opposition - Kubo can run rings around dazzled players. Kubo has an amazing low center of gravity and excellent ball control.
Kubo's PB scores have not been great so far for Villareal and Parejo could also be a great shout at around £1 for match day dividends. But, Kubo does appear a great longer-term hold and at under £1.40 - could be great value.
Adil Aouchiche Under £1.30
Aouchiche has been one of the most talked-about young players on Football Index over the last 12 months. However, this is his debut appearance on Football Index Club. Aouchiche has now proven himself in Ligue 1.
Aouchiche is still only 18 and has shown a lot of promise for Puel's struggling St Etienne. At a more attacking club, Aouchiche could really flourish and he certainly has the playmaking abilities to hit high PB scores in the future.
Overall, Aouchiche may struggle to earn match day dividends in the short term due to playing for a weak, defensive side but at such a low price - Aouchiche could be an excellent longer-term hold.
Lee Kang-In Under £0.70
Departures at Valencia over summer have led to Kang-In being provided with the opportunity to play more often this season. Kang-In already has 3 assists in 9 games and has started Valencia's last three games. Nevertheless, his price has dropped considerably and he can currently be purchased at less than 70p.
This certainly seems like excellent value for a 19-year-old who has such high potential. Kang-In is a creative player who likes to provide through balls and key passes. Kang-In is also an excellent dribbler and overall he could become a strong longer-term hold at such a low price.
Kasper Dolberg Under £0.60
Gouiri could have very easily made this list too, but I have gone for Dolberg for the short-term IPD. Nice have arguably the best upcoming fixtures on the whole platform coming up over the next 30 days:
Slavia Prague (H)
Hapoel Be'er Sheva F.C. (A)
At under 60p, Dolberg could be an excellent short term hold for IPD. Dolberg is unlikely to earn match day dividends, but his movement off the ball is particularly strong and this leads to him getting into very good goal scoring positions where he will often finish his chances clinically.
Dolberg's intelligent runs and sudden movement in the box leads to him scoring within the box and he certainly has the potential to score braces/hat-tricks often which could lead to higher PB scores in the future.
Sofiane Diop Under £0.50
Diop continues to go quietly under the radar despite performing consistently well for Monaco in his first full Ligue 1 season. Diop can currently be purchased at around 43p which is excellent value for a player with so much potential.
Diop has a range of skills and excellent vision and so will happily attempt long-range passes and can also take corners very effectively. Diop also has two Ligue 1 goals this season so far and is helping Monaco attempt to break into the top 4.
The main concern for Diop is that Golovin should be returning soon. Nevertheless, Diop's instant sell price is currently so low that it is unlikely he will drop much further. Gems like Diop who can be purchased for 43p are the upside of having an incredibly thin market.
