As I have mentioned in previous posts there is enormous profits to be made by getting on the right youth players at the right time.
I want to highlight below 6 youth players which I think could increase in price considerably over the next year and following years to come. I have used the Youth Player Database and additional research to spot these players and my reasoning for each player is below.
The reason that I think it is currently the right time to buy cheaper, youth players that are currently on the market is that there are many young players being IPO'd at very high prices.
Although, the value of existing shares does not actually increase in relation to dividends, many traders are likely to buy the existing, cheaper shares due to comparing prices. Even though this may not be rational, it offers a great opportunity for us to make some large profits, via capital appreciation, by getting on good youth players (Which there will always be a lot of demand for) at what are still relatively good prices.
1. Alphonso Davies
Davies is a very young, attacking, winger for an elite club with huge potential! The only problem for Davies currently is his lack of game time, but, I am confident he does have the ability to play at the top level. He has scored 2 goals in his total of just 100 minutes of Bundesliga action and this is a stat which seems to have gone massively under the radar in the football world.
2. Hamed Junior Traore
Traore has plenty of first-team experience under his belt from his time at relegated Empoli last season and now in a better team, Traore is continuing to improve at Sassuolo in Serie A. I first bought Traore at less than 75p pre-split and he has more than tripled in price since. However, if he continues to perform well, it is likely a bigger club will come in for him (He is currently on loan from Serie B side Empoli) and he will continue increase in price alongside any transfer talk.
3. Josh Sargent
Sargent, similarly to Alphonso Davies, also has a very good goals to game ratio in the Bundesliga. He has also already scored this season and looked sharp in pre-season too. It appears Sargent is a natural goalscorer and if he can take his chances this season, a summer transfer to a better team than Werder Bremen could also be on the horizon.
4. Dejan Kulusevski
Kulusevski is already showing his talent on loan at Parma, from Atalanta, with 2 assists in his second game. Kulusevski is a player I have monitored since I originally tipped at 37p in April 2019. Although, he has already increased considerably in price, he still looks good value at his current price given the development that he has made which has helped him secure a spot in Parma's starting 11.
5. Boubacar Kamara
Kamara is a player that looks to be a very solid long term hold. He is young and is already posting consistently good PB scores. His price ceiling is not as high as the other 5 player's mentioned - as he is primarily a center back (He can also play in defensive midfield), however, he could be rumoured with a move away from Marseille which could see his price increase.
6. Roberto Lopez
Lopez is a forward for Real Sociedad. His price increased during pre-season as he scored against Nottingham Forest for Real Sociedad's first team, but, has fallen back down again. He has not been able to break into the first team with strong attackers currently ahead of him, but, Lopez has scored 2 goals in 2 games for Real Sociedad B this season and does look like a player with a lot of potential. At just 50p he could be worth keeping an eye on.
