Transfer Targets starting to decrease

*Most and possibly all who read the below will already be aware of this. But, it is very important to avoid trader's seeing drops in certain players and so worth pointing out just in case.

Unless a transfer is confirmed in the next 3 days, players which have increased significantly recently relative to average market growth and have risen for not reason other than transfer speculation, are likely to drop in price in the coming weeks.

Players who have been linked with a move to a favourable side may remain above the price they were at before the transfer speculation emerged, due to speculation that they will be linked with a move away again in the future. However, many players who have been linked with a move away and are still much higher in price than they were before the transfer speculation still have plenty of room to drop in price. Especially if they are:

  • Older

  • Non-PB league

  • Will not play in the Champions League / Europa League

  • Will not play at EURO 2020

Players which have been linked with a move away this transfer window, but, are unlikely to move to the team linked with are likely to drop further in price in the coming weeks

Therefore, it would be wise to sell players (Which are yet to drop towards the price they were before the transfer speculation) now before we see further drops in price at the end of January and at the start of February.

To find players which have been linked with a move away from their current team in recent months, you can use the Transfer Database. You can also use this to filter by players which have been linked with a move from Non-PB league to a PB league as these players are likely to drop the most in price.
