Summer 2020 Quality, Young, Transfer Targets
Updated: Feb 23, 2020
As you will be aware, Jadon Sancho has recently become the highest priced player on Football Index and by a fair amount after his huge price increase this week.

Although, this is only one player's price increase - it could certainly have a knock-on effect on the rest of the market.
Jadon Sancho could certainly continue to increase in price due to the positive upcoming events of the Champions League, EURO 2020 and of course transfer speculation over summer. Even if he does not move this summer, it is very likely he will pick up media dividends.
As Sancho has now broken the barrier of becoming the 'New King Of The Index' and due to possessing almost (PB scores could still improve further) all of the positive characteristics, which are likely to result in him earning dividends in the future, which are attractive to traders - his price seemingly has no limits and may continue to grow with the success and growth in Football Index as a platform throughout 2020.

Overall, Sancho does still appear to be of fairly good value compared to many players on Football Index given the difference in ratios between how much Sancho will return in dividends in future years to the difference in price ratios when comparing him to many unproven, young players who may struggle to ever earn dividends.
However, Sancho is not a player that would be highlighted within a FIC post because:
1. Extremely Well-known already so it would offer very little value
2. High Price means it is harder to buy a high quantity
3. At current high price, it would take a huge investment to get him to increase 100% (The aim for FIC highlighted players) over the next 12 months.
4. Injury / poor form / fails to continue to improve could lead to a huge drop in price given price is already built up so much on estimates of future dividend returns
Whether or not you hold Jadon Sancho - his price increase is excellent news for those constantly seeking to profit from quality, young players and there are many quality, young players which will increase in price much more (As a percentage) than Sancho will in the next 12 months. Many of these players will be highlighted throughout FIC posts.
Regardless of whether Sancho is better value or not - the widened gap in price will likely bring the prices of other quality, young players up. Sancho's price increase is largely due to recent transfer speculation and there are many other young players who are likely to increase in price considerably due to transfer speculation.
