Market Trend #2 Massive increases during matches
Updated: Feb 23, 2020
You may have noticed that player's prices are increasing massive amounts due to good performance buzz eligible performances. To offer some context into the extent to which they are rising: A 20 year old Luka Jovic last October scored 5 goals in a single match hitting a monster PB score of 325 and rose 26p on the same day. Today, 20 year old Victor Osimhen scored 2 goals hitting a PB score of 190 and rose 40p.
Traders are desperate to get onto the next big player, especially if they suit the new scoring matrix. So, how can we use this to make a profit? We need to get onto potentially high performance scoring attacking players very early - especially if they are young and have a lot of potential. Below is a list of players who could potentially see similar rises to Victor Osimhen and Jeff Reine-Adelaide if they are to perform well. I have created this list using Index Edge by filtering the selection by Forward / Midfielder, age under 22, price under £1.20 and I have selected the reasonably attacking players (Excluded defensive midfielders) who have performance potential and currently play in a PB league:
Forwards (Minimum PB score average of 40)
Justin Kluivert - £1.14
Marco Richter - 97p
Maxwel Cornet - 92p
Ricardo Orsolini - 88p
Dodi LukeBakio - 88p
Samuel Kalu - 79p
Youssef En-Nesyri - 76p
Yann Karamoh - 55p
Midfielders (Minimum PB score average of 60)
Brais Mendez - 98p
Amadou Haidara - 98p
Maxime Lopez - 91p
Franck Kessie - 91p
Ainsley Maitland-Niles - 89p
Carlos Soler - 88p
Oscar Rodriguez - 68p
Maximilian Eggestein - 68p
Mathieu Cafaro - 66p
Key Considerations:
Avoid buying a player in game after they have already risen, unless you are confident they will rise further
Be patient with younger players such as the above as it is likely they only need one stand out game to gain a lot of attention / price increase
If a player scores early on and has not increased much, then you could buy with the view if they get another goal they will increase dramatically
