Expansion into Germany?

Expansion of Football Index into Germany is becoming increasingly likely to happen at some point in 2020.

Nothing has been confirmed yet, but, the latest wave of speculation comes from a recent Football Index job vacancy which includes the quote 'Initial focus will be purely on the UK market but with expansion into Germany and other markets during 2020.'

If Football Index were to expand into Germany, this would be great for us all currently on Football Index as operating in a another country would lead to a lot of new investment into existing shares.

How to profit from this?

First of all, it is worth pointing out again that nothing has been confirmed and even if it is confirmed in the future, we do not know when this will be happening yet. Therefore, in the short term it may not affect us.

It is also important to note that it is difficult to predict how much investment we will actually see from the German market, which players are likely to rise and many other unknown variables.

What we can expect as speculation of expansion into Germany emerges is for existing traders to speculate on what players playing in Germany and for the German national side will increase in price.

You can also see below the younger, value players which have already been highlighted on the site. Many of these players could potentially still be of good value, despite many already increasing in price.

Young Bundesliga Players which have previously been highlighted on the site as value players - many could still be strong value at their current prices

It is best to be prepared in case an announcement of entering Germany does come sooner than expected and so below are some players who could potentially be of value and rise further if Football Index was to expand to Germany.
