In today's game between Tottenham Hotspur Under 19's and Red Star Belgrade Under 19's, Troy Parrott was the only player to feature that is currently on Football Index.
In EUFA Youth League Player Reviews #2, Parrott was the only player on Football Index to feature and I mentioned that ' I do not think Parrott looks particularly good value at his current price of £2.21'. His price since dropped and with the news of the PB announcement,
Final Score: Tottenham Hotspur under 19's 9 -2 Red Star Belgrade under 19's
Team: Tottenham Hotspur
Current Price (22/10/19): £1.99
Scored 4 goals - 2 in the first half and 2 in the second
Looked very clinical every time he was on the ball
Looks a natural finisher
Very composed on the ball
Makes very dangerous runs frequently
He did not actually have very many touches throughout the game, however, almost every time he was on the ball he found a way to either get a shot away or provide a dangerous pass for a team-mate
Overall, I do think Troy Parrott looks value at his current price of £1.99 as he looks to be seriously talented in front of goal and far too good to be playing for Tottenham Under 19's despite only being 17.
He has also reportedly gained interest from Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich recently and these rumours could potentially lead to MB.
However, I would mention that Red Star Belgrade Under 19's were a poor side and appeared to give up second half. It is also worth noting that the current market trend is steering away from youth players and towards players that currently have a direct access to earning dividends. Having said this, Parrot's price has increased 14p having scored 4 goals in this game showing there is certainly still a demand for quality youth players.
