Bundesliga Preview - Today and tomorrow's games

All eyes are currently on the Bundesliga and we have already seen many players increase considerable amounts.

Within just 24 hours of yesterday's post, Nordi Mukiele rose to a peak price of £1.43 (Rising 8.3%) and Ihlas Bebou rose to a peak price of £0.61 (Rising 17%). If timed well - both players could have been sold to the market for a quick and easy profit.

Below is further information on the remaining upcoming games we can look forward to today and tomorrow.

1.FC Koln V 1. FSV Mainz 05

Cologne have gone from strength to strength this season. The arrival of manager Markus Gidsdol has improved performances and prior to the postponement in football, they had won 3 of their last 4 games.

Sitting in mid-table, Cologne look fairly safe from relegation but will want to finish their first season back in the Bundesliga strong.

Mainz, on the other hand, are far from safe. But, similarly to Cologne had been in fairly good form prior to the postponement in football, taking 7 points from their last, possible 12.

1.FC Koln Players

Mark Uth has been a great loan signing for Cologne and has shown that he shares some of the player characteristics which could lead to high PB scores. Uth is a creative player, demonstrated perhaps by him providing a huge 7 key passes against Wolfsburg, averaging 3.53 crosses per a game and his PB average across his last 5 games being 148. Uth has a strong chance of earning In-Play Dividends and has scored or assisted in his last 7 consecutive games.

Jhon Cordona and Florian Kainz

Jhon Cordoba has also been in very strong form with 7 goals in his last 8 games and could be in with a chance of earning more In-Play Dividends. With Cordoba's contract ending in 2021, he may also gain transfer links if he finishes the season strong. However, he has already risen a huge amount over the last 4 weeks.

Another player who has helped contribute to Cologne's strong form has been Florian Kainz who has scored 2 and provided 3 assists in his last 5 games. Again, Similarly to Uth, Kainz has shown PB potential. But, with Bayern Munich facing Union Berlin on this matchday - Cologne players will have to hit very competitive PB scores to be in with a chance of earning match day dividends.

1. FSV Mainz 05 Players

Scoring a total of 12 goals, Robin Quaison has arguably been Mainz's best player and is in with a chance of earning In-Play Dividends.

Robin Quaison

Quaison has hit two PB scores over 250 this season by scoring two hat-tricks.

Although Mainz do have many young, regular starters such as Ridle Baku and Jeremiah St Juste, their PB scores have been low and are unlikely to pose much of a threat in terms of earning IPD / Match Day Dividends.

Jean-Phillipe Mateta is suspended.

Additional potentially stand out Football Index players: Levin Oztunali, Jean-Philippe Boetius, Aaron Martin

Union Berlin V Bayern Munich

Union Berlin are currently in mid-table but could still face relegation if they have a particularly weak end to the season with 7 points separating them and Dusseldorf in 16th.

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich had been on an extremely strong run of form prior to the postponement in football, winning 10 out of their last 11 games and completely dismantling a number of sides along the way with some huge wins - scoring many goals.

Bayern will be very eager to keep their 1-point lead at the top of the Bundesliga.

Union Berlin average the 2nd least amount of possession (44%) in the Bundesliga, whilst Bayern Munich average the highest amount (63%) and so there is a strong chance that Bayern will dominate this game and many of their players will hit high PB scores.

Union Berlin Players

Sebastian Andersson has 11 goals this season and hit a very high PB score of 289 in December when he scored twice against Cologne.

Andersson and Trimmel

Christopher Trimmel has been one of Union Berlin's best players this season with a PB average of 104, but due to his age and Bayern being the opposition - he is unlikely to stand out as a hold on Football Index.

Additional potentially stand out Football Index players: Keven Schlotterbech

Bayern Munich Players

Bayern Munich is full of high PB scoring players and many could compete for match day dividends.

Lewandowski and Coman

Robert Lewandowski and Kingsley Coman are set to return from their respective injuries whilst Phillipe Coutinho and Corentin Tolisso are out with injuries.

Thiago and Kimmich are likely to dominate the midfield and if Serge Gnabry is up for this game like he had been in many games prior to the postponement in football, he could pose a huge threat and possibly rise significantly if he stands out due to the current momentum behind him.

Additional potentially stand out Football Index players: Benjamin Pavard, Alphonso Davies and Thomas Muller

Werder Bremen V Bayer Leverkusen

Tomorrow's game should be a great watch with Werder Bremen fighting to survive relegation and Leverkusen setting their sights on a top 4 finish.

Leverkusen have been in good form, taking 13 points from their last 15, despite facing Dortmund and Leipzig in these last 5 games.

In contrast, Werder Bremen picked up just 1 point in their last 6 games.

Werder Bremen Players

Milot Rashica is undoubtedly Werder Bremen's star player and has been highlighted on the site already on a number of occasions over the last few months. A strong performance from Rashica will not only grab the attention of the market but many strong sides around Europe who have their eye on him.

Additional potentially stand out Football Index players: Josh Sargent, Kevin Vogt

Bayer Leverkusen Players

Kai Havertz's performances have been very strong in his recent games with 5 goals and 5 assists in his last 8 games. Havertz, at the age of 20, could be a strong hold and due to his improving form this season and transfer links - could rise considerably following a strong performance.

Havertz and Diaby

Moussa Diaby is another player who's performances have improved significantly this season and is likely to rise in price following a strong performance in this game.

Leverkusen have many young options to choose from and players such as Leon Bailey, Paulinho and Ezequiel Palacios could all stand out if they start and perform well, due to being such exciting talents showing PB potential.

Additional potentially stand out Football Index players: Nadiem Amiri and Kerem Demirbay
