Tomas Tavares is a centre back for Benfica in Liga NOS. Tavares spent his entire youth career at Benfica and his football earned him a first team call up. Tavares has started to play consistent first team football in the Liga NOS, and has been trusted with Champions League football. Tavares is also a Portugal Youth International, starting heavily for both the U-17 and U-19 side.
