Peak PB Scores
Zaydou Youssouf is a central midfielder for St Etienne. Youssouf made his debut for Bordeaux in 2016 at the age of just 17 and has since signed for St Etienne where he has started to play in a deeper, midfield role. Youssouf suffered a knee injury last season, but Ligue 1 was cancelled anyway and so he only missed 6 games with injury. Youssouf has struggled to play a full 90 minutes regularly so far this season, due to competing with other, relatively young midfielders Camara and Neyou who play in a similar role to Youssouf. When on the ball, Youssouf is very composed and can progress forward with the ball very effectively, completing a very high 85.1% of his 2.74 dribbles attempted per 90. Youssouf also has the ability to play both short and long passes, but he rarely contributes in the final third and due to his lack of goals and assists - his peak PB score is very low. Defensively, Youssouf is fairly solid, making 2.57 tackles per 90. Overall, Youssouf looks a very high quality player with a lot of potential, but he will need to add more creativity in attack to his game to have a real chance of competing for match day dividends often in the future. Youssouf could possibly gain interest from stronger sides in the future, which could potentially lead to him competing for media dividends.
1 Year Price Graph
Zaydou Youssouf's price hit a peak of £0.87 last November, but has since dropped and has been as low as £0.60. Youssouf currently has a market price of £0.72 with no instant sell price and he can currently be purchased at £0.47 via matched bids. Youssouf is still relatively young and he has shown moments of real quality suggesting he does have a lot of potential. However, his PB scores are very low and unless he can start to carry more of a threat in attack, he is unlikely to ever earn match day dividends. In the short term, Youssouf is very unlikely to rise in price especially as he is failing to play a full 90 minutes regularly. Longer term, Youssouf looks set to develop into a very strong player, but due to his unsuitability to the PB matrix he is certainly a high risk hold as he may struggle to ever earn match day dividends. Overall, Youssouf could be a strong longer term hold if bought for £0.47 via a matched bid, but it may take some time for him to develop further and rise in price.
