Player Review
Sergio Gomez is a winger for Huesca, on loan from Borussia Dortmund. Gomez left La Masia to join Borussia Dortmund in January 2018 and possesses many of the classic Barcelona academy traits such as good awareness, technical ability and vision. Gomez is particularly strong at dribbling, averaging a high 4.24 dribbles per 90. However, Gomez is still weak and needs to improve his decision making. It is clear to see that Gomez has lacked experience playing first-team football, but getting a total of 1535 minutes for Huesca in the Segunda Division so far this season will have helped him develop. In this time, Gomez has only scored once and provided 2 assists - a poor output. Overall, Gomez looks a technically strong player who is likely to improve considerably in the future, however, it currently appers unlikely based on his season in Segunda Division that he will manage to break into the Dortmund first team when he returns from his loan spell next season.

Price Analysis
Sergio Gomez's price started the season at £0.83. Gomez's price has fluctuated based on various market trends and has risen in recent months alongside many other young players who have a very strong parent club. Gomez does not appear ready to make the breakthrough into Dortmund's first team, but could be given a chance in pre-season which could lead to an increase in price. Gomez's technique suggests he does have a lot of potential and his main weakness this season has been his decision making which has led to him producing very few goals and assists. If Gomez can become a more dangerous player in the final third, he could become a stronger player and given he is on loan from Borussia Dortmund - potentially a very strong hold. Overall, Gomez could be a fairly strong hold in the short term whilst he is still young and there is speculation of him improving and playing for Borussia Dortmund. Longer term, unless he improves much further, he may not remain at such a strong side as Dortmund and could drop in price.
