Peak PB Scores
Romain Perraud is a left back for Brest. Perraud had a fairly strong 2019-2020 season for Brest, averaging a high 46.6 passes per 90, 3.75 crosses per 90 with a 26.4% success rate and completing a respectable 1.77 tackles per 90. However, he was unable to score any goals and only provided 1 assist in the 20 games that he played. Perraud has started the 2020-2021 season exceptionally well with 2 goals and 2 assists in his first 3 games. Even against Marseille where he did not contribute towards a goal, he did attempt a very high 10 crosses showing strong PB potential. Against Dijon, Perraud scored the GWG and provided an assist leading to a very high PB score of 281. Perraud's recent goals have come from timing runs particularly well and drifting towards the front post before scoring with two exceptional first-time finishes. Overall, Perraud is still relatively young and given his high PB scores so far this season, he looks fairly like to earn matchday dividends again in the future.
1 Year Price Graph
Romain Perraud IPO'd on 12/11/2019 at £0.65. Perraud's price remained stagnant throughout all of last season, but due to starting the 2020-2021 season in fine form - he has rocketed up in price. Perraud's price rose up to £0.95 after he hit a 281 against Dijon and then in his following game he scored and assisted again which resulted in him rising further up to £1.14. The currently 5X IPD promotion has undoubtedly led to his price rise being even more extreme than usual. Perraud does appear a very talented full back and he has a lot of potential, however, last season he provided very few goal contributions and over time if his goal contributions dry up then his price may well drop. Furthermore, the extrapolation of his recent high PB scores may have also contributed to the current surge in demand. Perraud's PB scores are unlikely to be so high so consistently in the future and it is also worth pointing out here that his two highest PB scores came against two of the weakest Ligue 1 sides. Overall, Perraud does appear a fairly valuable hold, but with him being in such good form currently - it may not be the best time to buy him compared to a number of other players on the platform.
