Player Review
Raheem Sterling is a winger for Manchester City. Raheem Sterling has exceptional ball control, pace and quick feet and last season he completed 51.9% of the 3.8 dribbles he attempted. Sterling will often use his quick acceleration and tight ball control to dribble down the left wing and then will suddenly use a drop of the shoulder to cut inside. At this point, Sterling will either create a chance for a teammate, completing a high 1.74 key passes per 90 or he will choose to shoot, averaging a very high 3.36 shots per 90. Sterling hit 41.3% of his shots on target last season and managed to score an impressive 31 goals in 52 games. However, Sterling only completes 0.29 successful crosses per 90 and so he does not have a particularly high base PB score. Nevertheless, Sterling's ability to score frequently led to a number of high peak PB scores last season and throughout the 2020-2021 season, he is likely to earn more than the £0.26 in matchday dividends that he earned last season. Sterling benefits from the recent dividend increase and Manchester City may well progress further than the quarter final of the Champions League during the 2020-2021 season. Furthermore, Sterling's involvment in EURO 2021 could lead to him earning more in matchday and media dividends. Sterling earned £0.33 in media dividends last season, but there is a fair chance this will improve over the upcoming years with England playing at EURO 2021 and the 2022 World Cup. Overall, whilst Sterling continues to contribute towards goals regularly, he is likely to earn a high amount of matchday and media dividends over the upcoming seasons.

Price Analysis
Raheem Sterling's price started the 2019-2020 season at £5.53. Due to strong performances and the trend towards high PB scoring players, Sterling's price hit a peak of £7.10 in November 2019. Between October 2019 and June 2020, Sterling failed to hit any PB scores over 200 and his price declined considerably. Sterling's price has remained relatively stagnant since Covid-19 led to the suspension in fixtures back in March. Sterling currently has a market price of £5.73 and an instant sell price of £5.39. Sterling has high potential to earn more matchday and media dividends over the upcoming seasons and he does appear a fairly valuable hold. However, if Lionel Messi signs for Manchester City in the future, Sterling's chances of earning matchday dividends could drop considerably whilst competing with Messi for top forward at Manchester City which could lead to his price dropping. Overall, Sterling is likely to grow in price and earn dividends throughout the 2020-2021 season, however, he may fail to rise as much as a number of younger, quality, emerging talents.
