Peak PB Scores
Rafinha is a central midfielder for Barcelona. Rafinha was sent out to Celta Vigo on loan during the 2019-2020 season and he performed well completing a very high 55.8 passes per 90. Rafinha has excellent ball control and is strong at dribbling attempting an average of 3.74 dribbles per 90 with a high 68.7% success rate. During the 2019-2020 season, Rafinha attempted 1.5 crosses per 90, but his crossing accuracy was a very poor 12.2%. Rafinha therefore failed to create many chances for teammates and only provided 1 assist, but he did score 4 goals. None of Rafinha's goals were the GWG, but he was still able to hit 2 PB scores over 200. Overall, Rafinha has very strong PB potential and could certainly hit higher PB scores next season if he was played regularly in a stronger team, esepcially if he could improve his crossing accuracy. Whilst at a weak team, Rafinha may struggle to hit matchday dividend winning PB scores regularly due to a lack of goal contributions and lack of team wins.
1 Year Price Graph
Rafinha's price started the 2019-2020 season at £0.48. Due to gaining more game time at Celta Vigo, Rafinha's price increased throughout the 2019-2020 season and currently sits at a market price of £0.66 with an instant sell price of £0.40. Rafinha's wide spread suggests there is currently a lack of demand for Rafinha, but he could be a very strong hold if bought within this spread. Rafinha's style of play suits the PB matrix well and at a stronger side he could fairly frequently hit high PB scores. Rafinha has reportedly gained interest from Arsenal, Everton, Lazio and West Ham United. Although these transfer links are tenuous, it does appear likely that Rafinha will start the 2020-2021 season at a stronger side than Celta Vigo. Therefore, Rafinha could hit higher PB scores next season which is likely to lead to demand for Rafinha increasing and him possibly earning matchday dividends. Rafinha could grow into a stronger player over the upcoming seasons, similar to how his brother (Thiago Alcantara) developed later in his career. Although Rafinha is unlikely to ever be as good as his brother, he could become a more attractive hold as he continues to develop and plays more regularly at a strong side.
