Player Review

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is a center forward or winger for Arsenal. Aubameyang has played as a center forward for the majority of his career, with a few earlier spells on the right wing. However, Mikel Arteta has been getting the most out of Aubameyang by playing him as a left winger. Aubameyang's style of play suits the PB matrix better when playing as a winger as he gets more involved in games due to increased defensive duties. Aubameyang scores frequently and has hit 4 PB scores over 200, all when playing under Arteta. Aubameyang shoots often, averaging a high 2.8 shots per 90 and his finishing is very strong which has helped him score 27 goals this season. Aubameyang has scored 7 GWG's this season and has scored 5 braces, but he has only earned £0.08 in Match Day dividends this season. Aubameyang only averages 17 passes per 90 and so without contributing to 2+ goals in a game, he is unlikely to hit high peak PB scores. Overall, despite scoring so frequently, Aubameyang is unlikely to hit the PB scores needed to earn match day dividends very often. However, he could earn media dividends over summer if transfer speculation grows further.

Price Analysis

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's price started the season at £1.71. Aubameyang's price has fluctuated between highs of £2.19 and lows of £1.88. Aubameyang currently has a market price of £1.96 with an instant sell price of £1.51. In the short term, Aubameyang could earn media dividends as he has gained tenuous transfer links to Liverpool, Manchester United, Barcelona and Real Madrid. However, if Aubameyang does not move and fails to earn media dividends - his price is likely to drop due to his low potential to hit high PB scores. Overall, Aubameyang does not appear a particularly strong hold as at the age of 31, he is at a relatively high price given his low dividend output. Aubameyang's spread is likely to tighten if transfer links develop further and he could become a stronger hold if he does move to a stronger side.
