Pedrinho is an attacking midfielder for Corinthians, who has agreed to sign for Benfica on a contract until 2025. Pedrinho was signed by Benfica for 20 Million Euros in March 2020 and will join Benfica ahead of the 2020-2021 season. Pedrinho is a skillful player who has particularly quick acceleration and can use this to quickly turn with the ball and suddenly drive forward with the ball. Pedrinho has excellent ball control and is strong at dribbling and he is also very strong at crossing. Pedrinho scored 5 goals and provided 4 assists in 28 appearances in the first division of Brazil last season and he certainly has a lot of potential to continue to develop and improve in the Primeira Liga for Benfica next season. Pedrinho's style of play could suit the PB matrix very well as he is an attacking, creative player who can contribute towards goals frequently. However, next season he will be limited to competing for match day dividends in just European Tournaments due to playing in a Non-PB league.
1 Year Price Graph
Pedrinho's price started the season at £0.95. Between November and February, Pedrinho's price had slowly started to grow and his price had hit £1.25 by February. Once his transfer to Benfica was confirmed in March, his price slightly dropped and has remained relatively stagnant since. Playing in Europe is undoubtedly better for Pedrinho's prospects of earning dividends, firstly because he will have an opportunity to compete for match day dividends with Benfica in a European Tournament next season and secondly because it will increase his exposure to strong PB league sides and if he performs well in the Primeira Liga - he could secure a transfer to a team in a PB league. Pedrinho currently has a very wide spread with a market price of £1.19 and an instant sell price of £0.74. This is possibly due to the lack of demand for Pedrinho caused by the lack of transfer speculation as he has signed for Benfica on a contract until 2025. In the short term, it is unlikely his price will rise above his current market price, however, longer term he could be a strong hold if bought at a discounted price via a matched bid because if he stands out in the Primeira Liga next season, his price could rise considerably.
