Nuno Tavares is a left back for Benfica. Tavares started the season superbly well, scoring a very impressive, long range effort and providing two assists against Pacos Ferreira in Benfica's first game of the season. Tavares then played the following two games, but has been left out of the starting 11 ever since. Tavares also scored and provided an assist in a strong performance against Liverpool Under 19's in the EUFA Youth League last month (March). Standing out with goals and assits from defence at a young age, Tavares clearly shows a lot of potential and could rise in price once he starts playing more regularly. An Alejandro Grimaldo departure over summer could open the door for Tavares to feature more regularly for Benfica's first team, but up until then - Tavares may remain a fairly stagnant hold. Longer term, Tavares does appear fairly good value at his current low price given his strong potential and the glimpses of quality shown when given an opportunity.
