Player Review

Niklas Sule is a center back for Bayern Munich. Sule is comfortable on the ball and with Bayern Munich often playing the ball out from the back, Sule completes a very high 82 passes per 90 which is the 17th most passes per 90 of all players on Football Index that play regularly. Due to Sule's high passing stats, he does frequently hit fairly high PB scores and has a base PB score. Last season, Sule hit two PB scores over 200 without scoring or assisting and it is very likely that if Sule was to score the GWG in a game where he also helps Bayern keep a clean sheet - he would hit a very high PB score. Last season Sule did not score any goals in PB eligible games, but he is strong in the air and could score from a corner on occassion. Overall, Sule is unlikely to earn matchday dividends often due to infrequently hitting high peak PB scores due to a lack of goal contributions. However, as he has such a high base PB score it is fairly likely that he earn dividends in the upcoming season.

Price Analysis

Niklas Sule's price started the 2019-2020 season at £1.02. Sule suffered a cruciate ligament rupture last season, but this did not negatively impact his price too badly. Sule's price has remained fairly steady over the last 12 months and having now returned from injury, he is in a much better position to return dividends over the upcoming season. At the age of 25, playing for arguably the best team in the world and also playing for Germany - Sule's prospects of earning matchday dividends over the upcoming seasons are strong. Overall, Sule appears a valuable hold at his current price given his potential to return dividends with him playing more in the upcoming season. Furthermore, the introduction of team of the month dividends and the dividend increase makes Sule a more attractive hold and he has a reasonable chance of returning his full price in dividends in the upcoming 3 years alone.
