Player Review

Moses Simon is a winger for Nantes. Simon scored 5 goals and provided 5 assists during the 2019-2020 season. Simon only hit one fairly high PB score last season, but his 10 goal contributions were spread across 10 different games and he only scored one GWG in a game that he started (He hit a 216 in this game). Therefore, his low PB scores may not be the best indicator of his future PB scores as his underlying player characteristics suggest he does have some strong PB potential. Simon is a very fast winger and is strong at dribbling attempting 3.29 dribbles per 90 with a 42.5% success rate. Simon also shoots often, taking 1.81 shots per 90 hitting 55% of his shots on target. However, Simon's base PB scores are likely to be low as he only completes 24 passes per 90 and has very low crossing accuracy, completing only 19.2% of his 2.96 attempted crosses per 90. Overall, Simon could hit high peak PB scores more often in the future by scoring/assisting multiple times in a single game, but he will need to improve his crossing to hit high PB scores more regularly. Simon could be a strong hold for earning In-Play Dividends.

Price Analysis

Moses Simon's price started the season at £0.33. Simon's price grew considerably throughout the 2019-2020 seaon and hit a peak of £0.78 in January 2020. Simon's price dropped to £0.60 on 10th August, but has risen to £0.66 over the last two weeks due to the return of Ligue 1. Simon has an instant sell price of £0.47 and it is likely that there will be a greater demand for Simon in the short term due to the 5X IPD promotion. Simon's instant sell price was as low as £0.27 in July and so he could arguably be a risky hold in the short term given that the demand for him could reduce once the 5X IPD promotion is over. Overall, Simon appears a reasonably strong hold who could earn In-Play Dividends fairly regularly throughout the season and he also has an outside chance of occassionally earning matchday dividends. However, if he does contribute towards a goal during the 5X IPD promotion and if his spread tightens, it could be a strong time to sell him unless he has been bought within the 30-day IPD window.
