Peak PB Scores
Morgan Gibbs-White is a central midfielder for Wolverhampton Wanderers. Gibbs-White had a number of strong games upon his breakthrough in the Premier League last season and consequently rocketed up in price. However, since then he has played very infrequently with better central midfielders being preferred. Gibbs-White has not performed particularly well when he has featured for Wolves this season with just 31.5 passes per 90 and all 9 of his crosses failing to reach a teammate. Gibbs-White's peak PB score over the last two seasons is just 105 and although he has has not played very often - he does not appear to suit the PB matrix very well. If Gibbs-White can improve further in the future, he has an outside chance of earning media dividends due to being a young, English player.
1 Year Price Graph
Morgan Gibbs-White's price started the season at £1.69. Due to Wolves preferring Joao Moutinho, Ruben Neves and Leander Dendocker in midfield, Gibbs-White has only played a total of 124 Premier League minutes this season and has subsequently dropped in price. Gibbs-White's price currently sits at £1.18 with an instant sell price of £0.83. Gibbs-White's wide spread shows the current lack of demand for Gibbs-White. Since the introduction of the Matching Engine, Gibbs-White has become a less attractive hold as if he doesn't improve in the future it is likely his price will drop further and there is no longer the option to instant sell at a tight spread. Gibbs-White's previous high price had been due to hype particularly as he had been positively praised on Match of The Day following a strong performance, however, he appears unlikely to earn dividends in the future and so his price could remain fairly stagnant for the foreseeable future. Gibbs-White's price ceiling is very high and if he improves, he could possibly be a strong longer term hold, but he will need to improve considerably to have a strong of earning match day or media dividends.
