Player Review
Michael Obafemi is a center forward or winger for Southampton. Obafemi has a strong goal scoring record at youth level and has played for Southampton on a number of occasions this season. Obafemi scored a very impressive goal against Chelsea earlier this season. Obafemi is strong at dribbling evident in him completing 2 successful dribbles per 90 and he also has great vision which he showed against Portsmouth in the League Cup earlier this season by playing an intelligent through ball into Danny Ings who went on to finish. Obafemi is unlikely to hit high PB scores this season, averaging just 16 accurate passes per 90 and 0 crosses per 90 and he lacks regular game time. However, Obafemi has only played 492 minutes in the Premier League this season and so his performances and chances of earning dividends could improve in the future with more game time and as he develops further. Physcially, Obafemi has the build, strength and pace to potentially become a very strong player over time.

Price Analysis
Michael Obafemi's price started the season at £0.94 and has fluctuated between lows of £0.80 and highs of £1.02 throughout the season. Michael Obafemi's current price is £0.92 and his price has remained relatively stagnant over the last few months. Obafemi's chances of earning dividends currently appear fairly low, but he could possibly rise in price in the short term with the return of the Premier League. There is currently a lot of momentum towards young players who could be playing over the upcoming weeks and if Obafemi does get some game time and performs well, he could rise considerably. Southampton face Norwich City at home this Friday night and with Moussa Djenepo suspended, there is an outside chance Obafemi could start on the right wing for Southampton - a position he has played 4 times this season. Overall, Obafemi appears unlikely to drop in price in the short term as he has remained relatively stagnant in recent months and as he suits the current market trend, he could possibly be a strong short term hold. Longer term, he could become a very strong player, but he is still relatively unproven with just 492 minutes in the Premier League so far this season.
