Peak PB Scores
Max Aarons is a right back for Norwich City. Aarons scored two goals and provided 6 assists in the Championship for Norwich in the 2018-2019 season, but failed to score any goals and only provided 1 assist in the 2019-2020 Premier League season. Aarons has rapid acceleration but was unable to take advantage of this for Norwich in the 2019-2020 season with only 36% of Norwich's play going down the right wing. When attacking, Aarons showed potential with 2 crosses and 2.96 attempted dribbles per 90. However, only 25% of his crosses were successful and this is certainly an area for improvement for Aarons. Aarons' PB scores were very poor for Norwich City with a peak PB score of just 141. However, as demonstrated by Aarons' goal contribution in the Championship, he could perform better when playing for a more dominant side where he can utulise his attacking ability better. Overall, Aarons' style of play could suit the PB matrix fairly well longer term if he can secure a move to a strong PB side and improve his crossing accuracy. Aarons is also an England U21, but he may struggle to break into the England first team longer term given the strength of other young, English right backs.
1 Year Price Graph
Max Aarons' price started the season at £1.38. Aarons' price declined to £1.13 by November as his PB scores had been poor and the market trend towards high PB scoring players was particularly strong. As young, English players started to attract more demand from the market, Aarons' price started to rise and hit a peak of £1.85 in February. Since then, Aarons' price has remained relatively stagnant and currently sits at £1.78 with an instant sell price of £1.44. Aarons has gained transfer links to a number of strong sides including Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Bayern Munich. However, such links remain tenuous and Aarons could remain at Norwich to play in the Championship next season. Overall, Aarons appears to be fairly expensive given his low PB scores and the possibility of him playing in a Non-PB league next season. A transfer to a strong side already appears to be very much priced in to his current market price, but he may rise slightly further if he does move to a particularly strong side. Longer term, Aarons could be a strong hold if he continues to develop and plays for a strong PB league side.
