Matthijs de Ligt is a fairly solid long term hold. He clearly has massive potential and is already playing at the very top level at such a young age. De Ligt will play in the later stages of the Champions League and for Netherlands at EURO 2020. However, as a center back, he is already very expensive and given he has already moved to a strong team - there are little reasons to buy him in the short term at his current high price as he is unlikely to regularly hit very high PB scores as a center back.
