Player Review

Marcel Sabitzer is an attacking midfielder for RB Leipzig. Sabitzer had a very strong 2019-2020 season scoring a total of 16 goals and providing 11 assists in 44 games. Sabitzer completed a high 50 passes and 2 key passes per 90 last season. Furthermore, Sabitzer crosses often as he frequently takes Leipzig's free-kicks attempting 4 crosses per 90 with a 25% success rate. Sabitzer also has the ability to score from free-kicks and has shown his ability to score from range from open-play too. Sabitzer averages a high 2.49 shots per 90, hitting the target 35.6% of the time. In the upcoming season, Sabitzer could possibly score even more frequently if he takes over from Timo Werner as Leipzig's penalty taker. Overall, Sabitzer benefits enormously from the increase in matchday dividends and having earned £0.22 in dividends last season, he looks set to return a considerable amount of his price in dividends again in the upcoming season.

Price Analysis

Marcel Sabitzer's price started the 2019-2020 season at £0.58. Due to strong perfromances and due to suiting the dominant trend towards high PB scoring players at the start of last season, Sabitzer's price rocketed up to a peak of £2.91 by November 2019. Sabitzer's price has dropped considerably since but upon the return of the Bundesliga in May, his price did rise back up to £2.65. Sabitzer currently has a market price of £2.16 with an instant sell price of £1.90. Sabitzer is currently returning to full fitness and should be back in action in Leipzig's upcoming games. Given Sabitzer suits the PB matrix very well, he could be a very strong dividend earner over the upcoming season and therefore rise in price. Furthermore, he could also earn team of the month dividends one month. Overall, Sabitzer's decline in price recently combined with the increase in dividends makes him currently appear a very attractive hold at his current price and even better value if bought within his spread.
