Player Review

Leonardo Spinazzola is a left wing back for Roma. Spinazzola is a versatile player who can play at right back, left back or in left midfield. As part of Roma's 3-5-2 formation, Spinazzola has recently been playing in a left midfield position. Spinazzola attempts to dribble past opponents often, averaging 3 attempted dribbles per 90 but only 47.9% of his attempts were successful last season. Spinazzola also attempts to cross often, attempting 3.4 crosses per 90 with a 20.3% success rate. Spinazzola does complete a fairly high 44 passes, 1.7 tackles and 1.45 interceptions per 90 but due to his lack of goals and assists - he rarely hits high PB scores. Overall, Spinazzola does play for a strong side and attempts to cross and dribble often which if his execution was better could lead to higher PB scores in the future. However, due to a lack of quality and lack of goal contributions, Spinazzola is unlikely to earn matchday dividends often and his low PB scores last season show that he does not suit the PB matrix particularly well.

Price Analysis

Leonardo Spinazzola's price started the 2019-2020 season at £0.38. Spinazzola's price fluctuated throughout the last 12 months based on his form and he currently has a market price of £0.43 with an instant sell price of £0.33. Spinazzola's price is relatively low given how much game time he gets, which team he plays for and his age. However, his low past PB scores make him appear unlikely to earn dividends in the future and with the lack of instant sell, he is arguably a risky hold as he may never earn dividends in the future and therefore remain a relatively stagnant hold. Overall, at his current price Spinazzola does appear fairly valuable as a longer term hold and due to playing for a strong team, he could hit higher PB scores in the future with more regular game time. It is likely that over the 3 year share period, Spinazzola's price will rise at some point, but in times when there is a lack of momentum in the market - his instant sell price could drop further. Spinazzola's PB scores will need to improve considerably for him to have a serious chance of earning dividends, but he does look set to play more regularly this upcoming season which will lead to him having a better chance of earning dividends.
