Player Review

Kasper Dolberg is a center forward for Nice. Following a number of successful seasons in the Eredivisie for Ajax, Dolberg was signed by Nice in August 2019 for 20.5 Million Euros. Dolberg had a strong season for Nice getting into double figures for goals scored and had been in particularly strong form prior to the cancellation of the 2019-2020 Ligue 1 season. Dolberg's movement off the ball is particularly strong and this leads to him getting into very good goal scoring positions where he will often finish his chances clinically. Dolberg's intelligent runs and sudden movement in the box has led to him getting in front of defenders in dangerous areas and 8 of his 11 goals this season came from between the goal and penalty spot. However, this ability to find space to finish does not contribute to high PB scores and so his PB score have been very low this season given the amount of goals he has scored, this is also due to averaging just 12 passes per game. Dolberg does have the ability to score frequently and could possibly hit higher PB scores in the future via scoring braces/hat-tricks.

Price Analysis

Kasper Dolberg's price started the season at £0.80. Dolberg's price tends to fluctuate depending on his goal-scoring form and prior to the cancellation of Ligue 1, Dolberg's price had hit a peak of £1.27 due to scoring 6 goals and providing 2 assists in his last 9 games. In the short term, Dolberg may remain relatively stagnant in price due to the cancellation of Ligue 1 and lack of transfer links having arrived for Nice just last summer. Dolberg's potential to earn match day dividends appears fairly low, but he could be a strong hold for In-Play Dividends. Dolberg has improved this season and with such good movement off the ball and the ability to score frequently, he could improve further over time and become a stand out goalscorer in Ligue 1. Therefore, longer term he may have a chance of gaining transfer links. Overall, in the short term, Dolberg may not be such a strong hold, but he does appear a fairly strong longer term hold given his development and potential.
