Player Review

Jules Kounde is a center back for Sevilla. Kounde has a lot of experience under his belt for a 21-year-old having already played a total of 70 games for Bordeaux and 37 games for Sevilla. Kounde has had a successful first season for Sevilla and has recently gained attention from stronger sides including Real Madrid. Kounde averages a very high 61 passes per 90 and he also likes to shoot, averaging 0.91 shots per 90 (3rd highest of all center backs under 24). However, Kounde has only managed to score 1 goal and only provided 1 assist and so without the 1.25 European mulitplier applied, Kounde's highest PB score is only 181. Overall, Kounde's quality on the ball and potential to score more frequently in the future could result in him hitting higher PB scores in the future. Furthermore, Kounde is likely to gain more transfer links over the upcoming seasons and so he also has an outside chance of earning media dividends.

Price Analysis

Jules Kounde's price started the season at £0.59. Kounde's price grew to £0.72 by November following strong Europa League performances and then continued to grow further to a peak price of £0.84 in early March. Since then, Kounde's price has slightly dropped and he has a market price of £0.76 with a very tight spread and instant sell price of £0.72. Kounde does not have a particularly high price ceiling as a center back, but he does have potential to hit higher PB scores in the future and possibly earn match day dividends. Overall, Kounde's price is unlikely to rocket, unless he gains Premier League transfer links. But, longer term he does appear a fairly valuable hold given his young age, relatively low price and potential to earn match day dividends in the future. In the short term, Kounde could also benefit from playing in the Europa League and could certainly increase in price if he was able to score against Wolves in the quarter final.
