Player Review

Henry Onyekuru is a winger for Monaco. Onyekuru spent the 2019-2020 season on loan at Galatasaray. Onyekuru had an underwhelming season with just 1 goal and 1 assist in 10 games. Onyekuru hit double figures in his previous two seasons and so his poor 2019-2020 season came as a surprise. However, Onyekuru has returned to Monaco now and could be in Niko Kovac's plans for the 2020-2021 season. In a recent friendly, Onyekuru really impressed by making many intelligent runs in behind the defence and he also provided an assist in a 2-0 win. Onyekuru is a rapid winger with the ability to cut inside and score frequently. Onyekuru likes to dribble often and has very good agility which allows him to turn quickly. Overall, Onyekuru's future prospects will be very much up to Niko Kovac and he may struggle for game time in Ligue 1, but if he can break into the side regularly, he could occassionally hit high PB scores given his ability to contribute towards goals and could certainly earn In-Play Dividends.

Price Analysis

Henry Onyekuru's price started the season at £0.68. Onyekuru had a very poor 2019-2020 season and his price has consequently dropped to a current price of £0.52. Onyekuru's spread is relatively tight with an instant sell price of £0.42, showing the current demand for Onyekuru. Onyekuru's price is likely to remain stagnant if he is unable to break into the Monaco first team or is sent out on loan to a Non-PB league again. However, at his current low price and given his relatively young age - Onyekuru could be a very strong hold if he can break into Monaco's first team. Onyekuru's recent strong performance in pre-season could persuade Kovac to start him in Ligue 1 and if so - there is a fairly strong chance that Onyekuru's price would increase. Overall, Onyekuru is arguably a risky hold given the uncertainty over how much PB eligible game time he will play in the future, but given the potential upside - Onyekuru could currently be a strong hold. Furthermore, if Onyekuru can start some of Monaco's first games - he could earn a considerable return on his price in IPD given the 5X IPD promotion.
