Player Review

Hakim Ziyech is an attacking midfielder who currently plays for Ajax, but will be joining Chelsea for the 2020-2021 season. Ziyech has shown huge potential to hit high PB scores in the past and with a strong goals and assists record - his style of play certainly suits the PB matrix. Therefore, Ziyech could rise in price in the build up to the 2020-2021 season with Chelsea, due to the speculation of future, high PB scores. Furthermore, as a new signing for Chelsea, if he can bring the quality he has shown in the Eredivisie to the Premier League - he may gain a lot of media attention and so has a chance of earning media dividends. Ziyech's price has already risen a considerable amount in recent weeks and at the age of 27, may not be a particularly strong longer term hold. However, in the short term, in the build up to next season - his price could rise further. Once he starts playing for Chelsea, the direction his price takes will depend on how well he can replicate his strong performances in the past for Ajax.

Thanks for the review submission and comment Paul. Yes I completely agree on his potential to have a "Bruno esk" rise due to him following a similar FI path as Bruno. We knew Bruno could hit huge PB scores and was such a strong G&A threat in a Non-PB league and the question was whether he could bring that to the Premier League. It is a similar case with Ziyech, but of course on a much smaller level as you say because even if he does perform amazingly he won't earn anyway near as much in MB. He's also older and
a Morocco International. I think a lot of traders have had similar thoughts which has already led to him having quite a substantial rise, in the short term though I can see this price possibly continuing to rise up until his first game and then from there - it all depends on his performances. Quite a tough one to call to but for now could be a good hold in anticipation for his first Chelsea game.

Thanks Tom for the review. Ziyech does feel toppy I just have the feeling if he hits the ground running for Chelsea he could see a smaller but "Bruno esk" rise. He seems to have performed well vs English teams before but the high price is what's holding me back. Also the uncertainty of when this season ends nevermind when the next one starts!
