Player Review

Grady Diangana is a left winger for West Bromich Albion, on loan from West Ham United. Diangana has had a very strong season in the Championship scoring 5 goals and providing 6 assists in 21 games. Diangana is a physcially strong and very fast player with great ball control and uses this often to dribble past opponents. Diangana only averages 0.3 crosses per game, but this is mostly because Diangana is very direct in his play and often prefers to progress with the ball until he is closer to the opponent's goal to have a shot or choose to pass to a team mate. Diangana averages a high 2.3 dribbles and 1.5 shots per game. Diangana's style of play could suit the PB matrix fairly well as he is a creative midfielder who can contribute towards goals, though his lack of crossing may result in fairly low PB base scores. Diangana is likely to have an opportunity to compete for match day dividends next season either with West Brom or West Ham in the Premier League.

Price Analysis

Grady Diangana's price started the season at £0.65. Diangana's price had risen to £1.22 by October due to strong performances for West Bromich Albion. Diangana's price has remained relatively stagnant in recent months due to him being out injured. Diangana is now fit again and so should feature towards the end of the season. Diangana's price is built up on the speculation of him playing in the Premier League next season and West Ham have reportedly asked for £20 million for him which could go ahead if West Brom are promoted. Overall, in the short term speculation could grow that Diangana could play well in the Premier League and so he could be a strong hold. Longer term, he could be a strong hold depending on his performances and if he can gain a transfer to a strong side, but he may struggle to earn dividends if he remains at a lower end Premier League side.
