Player Review
Gianmarco Ferrari is a central defender for Sassuolo. Ferrari is very strong on the ball and likes to pass, averaging 56 passes per 90. Ferrari also demonstrated his long passing ability by pinging a well weighted ball over the top into Djuricic who expertly beat his defender and cooly finished to help Ferrari get his first assist against Spezia. Ferrari's second assist against Spezia was a header back towards goal from a corner. In this game, Ferrari hit a fairly high PB score of 229 and more than doubled in price due to him earning £0.20 in In-Play Dividends because of the 5X IPD promotion. Ferrari has strong defensive awareness, but he rarely dives into tackles and only makes a very low average of 0.38 tackles per 90, which is particularly low for a center back. Overall, Ferrari's base PB scores are fairly high due to his high pass completion rate per game in Sassuolo's possession based side. However, he does not pose a particularly strong threat in attack and is unlikely to hit the PB scores needed to earn matchday dividends often. Overall, unless Ferrari scores the GWG in a game, he is very unlikely to earn match day dividends.

Price Analysis
Gianmarco Ferrari's price had remained relatively stagnant for over a year, but suddenly his price flew upwards due to him providing two assists against Spezia during the 5X IPD promotion. Ferrari's price hit a peak of £0.55, but has since dropped to £0.40 and he currently has no instant sell price. Ferrari does not appear to be a likely dividend earner and even when he did provide two assists, his PB score of 229 was not even particularly high. Ferrari is unlikely to contribute towards two goals in a single game again in the future. It is unlikely that demand for Ferrari will increase very much in the future unless he can significantly improve in attack and score more frequently in the future. Overall, Ferrari does not appear a strong hold at £0.40 and it is likely that bids will be matched when £0.18 (The current lowest possible bid) is offered.
