Player Review

Gabriel Jesus is a center forward for Manchester City. Jesus alternates in the center forward role with Sergio Aguero and he has also been deployed out on the left wing on a number of occassions this season too. Jesus is strong at making space for himself and making intelligent, quick runs in behind defences to get himself into positions to shoot. Jesus averages a high 2.8 shots per game and has scored 23 goals in 46 Manchester City games so far this season. Jesus only averages 16 passes per game, but he is generally effective on the ball and it is his attacking awareness which helps him score so frequently. If Jesus could improve his finishing even further, he could become a regular 20+ Premier League goal scorer for Manchester City as Aguero continues to age. Overall, Jesus' style of play is not particularly made for the PB matrix, but his ability to score 2+ games in a single game could result in him hitting high peak PB scores on a number of occassions throughout a given season resulting in him earning match day dividends.

Price Analysis

Gabriel Jesus' price started the season at £2.37. Jesus' price had steadily grown throughout the season, but started to really take off in April. Jesus' price has risen from £2.65 in March to a current price of £3.78. Jesus's price has possibly risen so much as he is expected to take over Sergio Aguero as City's main center forward in the years to come. Jesus could earn more in match day dividends in the future with more regular game time, especially if he improved his finishing futher. However, his price appears to already be built up upon the speculation of this. Overall, Jesus appears fairly strong value at his current price but given he has already so much in recent months, capital appreciation could be limited in the short term.
