Player Review

Eddie Nketiah is a center forward for Arsenal. Nketiah failed to gain regular game time at Leeds United, but did score once every 165 minutes and in January was recalled by Arsenal. Since being recalled, Nketiah has scored 3 goals in 5 starts (2 in the FA Cup, 1 in the Premier League). Nketiah is a fast and sharp player who is a clinical finisher and could score frequently if he was to find form in the Premier League. Nketiah is likely to be a rotation player for Arsenal towards the end of the season. Nketiah's style of play does not suggest he would be strong at hitting high PB scores, unless he can score very often, but this may depend partly on if Arsenal improve towards the end of the season. Overall, Nketiah's chances of earning match day dividends will very much depend on how much game time he gets and if he can find form and score as frequently for Arsenal's first team as he has done for Arsenal's reserves in recent seasons.

Price Analysis

Nketiah started the season at around £1.50 and his price shot up to a peak of £2.06 in September after making a strong start in the Championship for Leeds United. Due to injuries and a lack of game time, Nketiah's price has since fluctuated between £1.70 and £2.06. Currently sat at £1.91, Nketiah certainly has potential to rise in price if he scores again in the Premier League. As a young English player, playing for a strong English side who have a media pull, Nketiah's price ceiling is very high. Overall, in the short term, Nketiah appears a fairly strong hold due to the hype around him possibly leading to a rise as the Premier League returns. Longer term, Nketiah's PB potential seems fairly weak and he is still fairly unproven, but if he can score regularly in the Premier League then he could be a strong hold.
