Player Review

David Neres is a winger for Ajax. Neres is very strong at dribbling with excellent ball control and often uses skills to beat players. Neres has been out with a knee injury since November, but he has performed well when he has played. Neres has a total of 31 goals and 28 assists in 81 Eredivisie games and so in addition to Neres' skills and quality dribbling ability, he clearly has a strong end-product and this could improve even further as he continues to develop, especially with the abscence of Hakim Ziyech next season. Neres' PB scores have been fairly low, but he has not played many full PB eligible games and he is likely to get more game time in the Champions League next season due to the departure of Hakim Ziyech. Overall, Neres' chances of earning dividends in the short term appear fairly low and his recent injury may put off potential buyers from PB leagues, but longer term he could secure a transfer to a PB league and could hit high PB scores given his quality in attack.

Price Analysis

David Neres' price started the season at £1.77. Neres' price has fluctuated significantly this season rising to peaks of £1.93 and a low of £1.59. Neres' current market price of £1.79 is currently £0.05 above his average season price, but he does have a wide spread with an instant sell price of £1.50. Unless Neres gains transfer speculation, his price is likely to remain stagnant over the upcoming months or possibly drop due him not playing. Longer term, Neres could be a strong hold as his price ceiling is very high and he could develop into a very strong player. Overall, Neres' current market price appears fairly high, but he could possibly be a strong longer term hold if he did end up in a PB league in the future.
