Player Review

Daniel James is a winger for Manchester United. Despite providing 6 assists this season, James' PB scores have been very poor with a low peak PB score of just 158. James' PB scores have been low because he averages just 21 passes per game and has only managed 0.49 accurate crosses per 90 minutes so far this season. James is still fairly young though and could certainly improve his general involvement in games and quality of crosses further in the future. James has returned 4p in media dividends and the ceiling to where his price could go is very high as if his performances did improve he would have an outside chance of earning match day dividends and a reasonably strong chance of earning media dividends. Overall, James' style of play and lack of passes per game suggests he will need to dramatically improve either his general involvement in games or contribution towards goals if he is to succeed in hitting competitively high PB scores regularly in the future.

Price Analysis

Daniel James' price started the season at around £2.50 and after scoring 4 goals in his first 5 Manchester United games, his price shot up to a peak of £3.16 by September. Despite being in strong goal scoring form, James' PB scores had been poor and since the goals dried up, his price has consistently declined. Having remained relatively stagnant over the last 3 months, James' price appears to have bottomed out and so if he performs particularly well once the Premier League returns - an increase in price is fairly likely. Overall, James will need to improve his PB scores considerably in the future to justify his current price, however, as a young Welsh, Manchester United player, he could rise considerably if his PB scores were to improve. Longer term, whilst remaining at Manchester United and as he develops, James is likely to rise in price and is likely to rise in price in the build up to EURO 2021 in particular.
