Peak PB Scores
Colin Dagba is a right back for Paris Saint-Germain. Dagba played a total of 15 games for PSG in the 2019-2020 season and showed potential with rapid pace and frequent crossing. Dagba attempted a fairly high 3.57 crosses per 90, but only 23.3% successfully met a PSG player. Dagba performed particularly well at the start of the season when playing against weak opposition such as Metz and Toulouse, but he failed to cement his place in the side with Meunier ahead of him. Thomas Meunier has recently signed for Borussia Dortmund and so Dagba may get more opportunites next season. Thilo Kehrer who usually plays at center back can also play at right back and so unless PSG sign a new right back, Dagba is likely to rotate with Kehrer next season. Although Dagba's PB scores have not been particularly high, he could possibly hit high PB scores in the future if he could gain more consistent game time and improve his crossing further. Dagba's stlye of play does not appear to particularly suit the PB matrix and PSG's main threat comes from midfield/attack, especially down the left side (41% compared to 30%). However, Dagba is on a contract at PSG until 2024 and given PSG's dominance in Ligue 1 - Dagba may be able to compete for match day dividends on a number of occassions over the upcoming seasons.
1 Year Price Graph
Colin Dagba's price started the 2019-2020 season at £0.60. Dagba's price hit £0.81 by October but has dropped since. Due to a lack of game time and the cancellation of Ligue 1, Dagba's price has remained very stagnant since March and currently sits at £0.69 with an instant sell price of £0.40. Dagba has played in PSG's recent friendlies and could possibly feature in the later stages of the Champions League. There is a reasonably strong chance that PSG will sign a new right back for next season due to the departure of Thomas Meunier and if so, Dagba's chances of getting game time next season will weaken. Overall, Dagba is still very young and has a lot of potential to improve, especially if he remains at PSG. At £0.69, Dagba appears fairly strong value given his potential and it is likely he could be purchased at a lower price via a matched bid. Dagba's success next season will depend on if PSG sign a new right back. Given Dagba's wide spread, he could be a strong hold if bought via a matched bid, however, he is likely to remain relatively stagnant in price unless he can play more frequently and improve much further in the future.
