Peak PB Scores
Callum Hudson-Odoi is a winger for Chelsea. Hudson-Odoi has very strong ball control and he often uses a combination of strong agility and acceleration to feint or turn away from opposition when dribbling. Hudson-Odoi averages 5 dribbles per 90 with a very respectable 60% success rate. Hudson-Odoi will often create opportunities for himself via his creative ability on the ball and attacking positioning, averaging 2.61 shots per 90, but he only hits 14.2% of his shots on target. What makes Hudson-Odoi stand out in particular is his vision and creativity averaging a very high 2.2 key passes and 6.2 crosses per 90. However, only 31.8% of his crosses have been successful this season. Hudson-Odoi undoubtedly has the underlying player characteristics which suit the PB matrix very well, but with just 1 goal and 5 assists this season - his end product will need to improve considerably for him to hit high peak PB scores frequently in the future. In the short term, Hudson-Odoi is unlikely to get the full games needed to earn match day dividends often, but longer term as he continues to develop - he could earn both match day and media dividends given his quality and potential.
1 Year Price Graph
Callum Hudson-Odoi's price started the season at £4.38 By late September, Hudson-Odoi's price had hit a peak of £4.93. However, throughout the season, Hudson-Odoi has failed to play regularly and has subsequently dropped significantly in price. Hudson-Odoi is currently just £0.07 above his 1 year low with a market price of £3.32 and an instant sell price of £2.85. Due to the introduction of the Matching Engine, Hudson-Odoi is now arguably a more risky hold as if he does not develop as expected he will appear hugely overpriced and will decline in price. Hudson-Odoi does have many of the player characteristics which could lead to high PB scores, but he has been unable to hit any particularly high PB scores so far this season. Hakim Ziyech's arrival and Christian Pulisic's improving form for Chelsea may result in a lack of game time again next season. Furthermore, due to the improvement in many other young English wingers such as Greenwood, Rashford and Sancho, Hudson-Odoi may struggle to break into the England side in the future. Overall, Hudson-Odoi's price ceiling is very high and he has plenty of potential, however, he is a risky hold at his current market price given his low dividend return this season.
