Player Review

Anthony Gordon is an attacking midfielder for Everton. Gordon is strong at dribbling, passing and shooting. Gordon has been getting closer to starting for Everton this season after having a very strong season for Everton U23's. Gordon is currently very unproven in the first team, but does share the player characteristics and creativity in attack which could lead to him being a strong PB player in the future.

Price Analysis

Anthony Gordon started the season at £0.70 and has increased considerably throughout the season since standing out in Premier League 2 division for Everton U23's and managing to get some minutes for the Everton first team. Towards the end of the season, Gordon has a strong chance of getting more minutes and if he performs particularly well, his price could rise considerably. Gordon is undoubtedly a risky player given how unproven he is, but with a sell price of £1.01 - there is a chance he could be bought for a considerable discount on his market price via a matched bid. Overall, Gordon's price ceiling is very high and given he has a fairly strong chance of playing for Everton towards the end of the season and with the strong trend towards quality, young, English players - he could be fairly strong hold in both the short and longer term. However, if Gordon does not cut it in the Premier League, he could be difficult to sell.

Totally agree, but i'll think i'll be holding for now, especially if he can get game time. Plenty of unproven English youngsters reaching £3-4! When I look around, the market seems scewed, slightly older players who are already established in strong teams now look value for example Daniel James, Harvey Barnes etc.

Wow what a rise!! Nice job keeping him PompeyUganda. Looking comparatively expensive now given how proven he is, but I guess the sky is the limit for attacking, English youth

Hope everyone is strapped in!

PompeyUganda, I think he certainly has a good chance between now and the end of the season so could rise further if he performs well!

I hope he does continue to rise - longer term his price ceiling is very high.

I am going to hold for the next few weeks at least, I think he is sure to get more game time between now and the end of the season with the 5 Subs rule getting approved. Much more upside still!

Yes Lee, after such a quick spike upwards in price it may be time to sell and bank the profit.

A few good games for Everton and he’ll rocket though and long term he could be a strong hold. But, if he doesn’t get much game time, he could drop in price again.

Is it time to sell with his recent rise !
