Peak PB Scores
Anthony Caci is a left back for Strasbourg. Caci is a very versatile player who can play in either full-back position, center back, left midfield or defensive midfield. Caci struggled with injuries throughout the 2019-2020 season and so only played a total of 8 Ligue 1 games. Caci performed very well when he did play with 4 assists and one goal. Caci's PB potential is more difficult to judge due to his lack of game time, but in the games that he did play he averaged a very high 3.50 tackles, 2.46 interceptions and 2.59 crosses per 90 showing his ability both in defense and attack. Despite having a very high PB average of 132 across the 8 games Caci played in, his peak PB score of 200 is fairly low given he scored the GWG and provided an assist in this game. This suggests that Caci may struggle to hit the peak PB scores needed to earn match day dividends often whilst at Strasbourg. Overall, Caci certainly stood out in his 8 games last season and he is still developing as a relatively young player, but he will need to get more game time next season and improve further to have a chance of earning match day dividends. Longer term, Caci's chances of earning match day dividends could improve considerably if he was signed by a stronger side.
1 Year Price Graph
Anthony Caci's price started the season at £0.34. Between October and December, Caci played 8 games and increased from £0.32 to £1.02 due to strong performances. Caci's price then hit a peak of £1.23 in February due to the momentum in the market at the time and the speculation around Caci performing well upon return from injury. Since then, Caci's price has dropped to a current market price of £1.00 with an instant sell price of £0.88. Caci's price is built up on the assumption that he will hit high PB scores in the future, but the small sample size of 8 games may not be sufficient to draw conclusions from. Furthermore, Caci's peak PB score of 200 with an assist and GWG may actually suggest a lack of peak PB score potential as Caci scored/assisted more in that one game than he had done in his 35 games in the 2018-2019 season and still failed to hit a very high peak PB score. In the short term, Caci may rise in price due to Strasbourg's opening Ligue 1 fixtures, but longer term he will need to prove himself over a greater amount of games to justify his current price.
