Player Review

Amadou Diawara is a defensive midfielder for Roma. Diawara is strong at passing, averaging 48 passes per game with a high passing accuracy rate of 87.5%. Diawara also has great vision and plays long balls often, averaging 4.1 long balls per game. Diawara's movement off the ball is strong and his defensive positioning has helped him make an average 1.8 tackles and 1.9 interceptions per game. Although Diawara will often opereate throughout midfield both in his own half and in the opposition's half, he infrequently ventures into the final third and so does not offer an attacking threat. Diawara has not contributed towards any goals this season and only provided 0.1 cross per game and only takes 0.5 shots per game (usually long range efforts). Overall, Diawara's style of play is not suited to the PB matrix and he is unlikely to earn match day dividends often either in the short or long term. Diawara has a chance of possibly earning media dividends in the future as he has gained tenuous transfer links to a number of very strong Premier League sides.

Price Analysis

Amadou Diawara's price started the season at £0.52 and increased to a peak price of £0.73 in January as it was reported that Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur scouts had been sent to watch him play. Diawara has not gained any transfer links since and his price has subsequently dropped back down to a current price of £0.57. Diawara has a wide spread with an instant sell price of £0.37 suggesting a lack of demand for him and given his low chance of earning match day dividends, his price may drop further. Overall, Diawara appears to be at a relatively low price compared to many, other young players at strong sides. However, his lack of attacking threat makes him very unlikely to earn match day dividends often and his best chance of earning dividends, appears to be his possibility of gaining a transfer to a stronger side and earning media dividends. Overall, Diawara may remain a relatively stagnant hold or even drop further in price. If Diawara does gain transfer links again in the future, his price may temporarily increase.
