Peak PB Scores
Alexander Isak is a forward for Real Sociedad. In the 2018-2019 season, whilst playing for Willem II in the Eredivisie, Isak scored 13 goals and provided 6 assists in just 16 games. Since signing for Real Sociedad, Isak has failed to consistently play full games as he is rotated with Willian Jose. In the total of 1530 minutes Isak has played, he has scored 14 goals, scoring an impressive once every 109.2 minutes played. Isak's PB scores have been low for Real Sociedad this season, but he certainly has the potential to improve his PB scores as he has the ability to score 2 or more times in a single game, evident in both him hitting a 232 for Sweden when he scored twice against the Faroe Islands (Although weak opposition) and also as he has scored two braces in the Copa Del Rey this season (Against Osasuna and Real Madrid). Isak's PB average is so low because he only averages 12.3 passes per 90 and rarely plays full games, but interestingly he has the 2nd most touches inside the box per 90 of all players in La Liga and his work off the ball is also very impressive as he makes 2.41 progressive runs per 90 which is the 4th most of all players in La Liga. Overall, Isak is still very young and although he currently lacks consistent full games and his PB scores have been very poor, his quality at such a young age and potential to score very frequently could lead to him occassionally hitting high peak PB scores and consequently having a chance of earning match day dividends. Isak may also be a strong hold for earning In-Play Dividends.
1 Year Price Graph
Alexander Isak's price started the season at £1.30. Isak's price had remained relatively stagnant in the first half of the season due to irregular game time and a lack of goals, but his price spiked upwards from January through to February as he hit very impressive form scoring 9 goals in 9 games. After failing to score in his following 6 games, Isak's price dropped, but then rebounded again with the focus of the market recently shifting towards quality young players. Isak's price currently sits at £2.31. Real Sociedad have favourable fixtures over the next 30 days including bottom of the league Espanyol and 4th from bottom Celta Vigo. If Isak can show the form he demonstrated he is capable of during January/February he could both earn plenty of In-Play Dividends, but also rise in price due to suiting the strong trend towards elite, young players. However, in the short term, the direction of Isak's price will likely depend on how much game time he gets and how frequently he scores. Overall, Isak's PB scores are very poor, but he could be a strong long term hold as he clearly has the potential to score very frequently and could also rise if he stands out at EURO 2021 with Sweden.
