Player Review

Adama Traore is a winger for Wolverhampton Wanderers. Traore has constantly shown huge potential over the last few seasons with blistering pace and strength. However, Traore's powerful presence and quick dribbling ability had not been enough to see him regularly play for Wolves with him often lacking a quality end product. However, this season, Traore has improved tremendously. Traore's crossing and finishing has improved massively leading to more consistent performances and Traore is now using his physical attributes to his advantage even more so than in previous seasons. Consequently, Traore has stood out as one of the Premier League's most improved players this season leading to a lot of attention from various sides including the Spain national squad which he may break into ahead of EURO 2021. Traore's PB scores have improved, hitting a reasonably high PB average, but Traore could still do with adding more goals and assists to his game to hit the high peak PB scores needed to regularly compete for match day dividends. Overall, despite Traore's huge improvement this season, he is still far from the finished article and could certainly improve further in the future. Diogo Jota's impressive performances prior to the break in football, diverted some of the attention away from Traore and Traore had already increased a huge amount in the previous months. Therefore, in the immediate short term he may not rise so much. However, Traore does look a quality player with a very high price ceiling and with Europa League games and then possible transfer links over summer - Traore could still make for a strong hold in both the relative short and long term.
